Lligwy Bay (Welsh: Traeth Lligwy) is a sandy bay on the east coast of the Isle of Anglesey.
The bay is in the northeast of the island, to the north of the village of Moelfre, and southeast of Amlwch. The bay is in a beautiful setting and has broad, fresh sands. It is very popular with windsurfers and other windpowered watersport enthusiasts.
There is a pay and display carpark at the end of a road leading right down to the beach.
Less happily though, the bay was the site, in October 1859, of the loss of the steam clipper Royal Charter, which foundered with a loss of over 450 lives.
