Arduaine Garden is an ornate garden laid out by the hamlet of Arduaine on the west coast of mainland Argyllshire, on a rocky promontory at the head of the Sound of Jura. In this position it enjoys the warming benefits of the North Atlantic Drift, allowing for a wider range of plants than is usual in this part of the world.

The garden was begun in 1898 at a time when curiosity about foreign travel and an appetite for the exotic were all the rage, and today it is in the care of the National Trust for Scotland.[1] It still displays plants from across the globe – from East Asia to South America.
