The mouth of the River Naver in Torrisdale Bay

Torrisdale Bay is a small bay with a broad, sandy foreshore on the northernmost coast of Great Britain, in Sutherland. It opens in the open Atlantic Ocean, but is sheltered by its high, cliff-bound headlands.

The bay is renowned for its beauteous beaches, and for all its remoteness it is a noted surfing spot.

The River Naver empties into the bay by Bettyhill, on the east side of the bay, and the River Borgie on its west side, by Torrisdale village.
