Oxford Canal

The Oxford Canal is a narrow canal seventy-eight miles long in the Midlands, running due north from the Thames at Oxford to Coventry, passing through Oxfordshire, and along its border with Northamptonshire and into Warwickshire.

For almost its whole route the Oxford Canal runs up the valley of the River Cherwell. (Read more)
