The River Ffraw is a short, shallow river of Anglesey. It rises in streams bursting from the springs on the low hills to the north of Soar and runs south into Llyn Coron.
Emerging from Llyn Coron, the waters of the Ffraw continue south-westwards to Aberffraw, ancient court of the Kings of Gwynedd and which village takes its name from the river. The river is tidal here, and below Aberffraw (which means "Ffraw-mouth") its waters work their way through the sands into Aberffraw Bay on the Irish Sea.
