Heck is a hamlet in Dumfriesshire. It is to be found in a broad part of Annandale, on the meadows on the west side of the River Annan. To the north is Lochmaben Castle on the shores of Castle Loch.
Heck is two miles southeast of the town of Lochmaben and a mile north of the village of Hightae.
