Honddu Isaf is a civil community in Brecknockshire to the north of the county town, Brecon. As its name suggests it is formed from the valley of the lower Honddu. It is bounded by Felinfach to the east, Llanddew and Brecon to the south, Yscir to the west and Merthyr Cynog and Erwood to the north. The population was 395 at the time of the 2001 census.[1]

It covers the ancient parishes of Garthbrengy and Lladefaelog Fach.
