The Lewis Rogers Houses in Penmynydd, Anglesey

Penmynydd

Penmynydd is a village on Anglesey situated on a slight hill between Menai Bridge and Llangefni. Its name, improbably for its situation, means 'Top of the mountain'.

The village is notable for its almshouses and historically as the seat of the Tudors of Penmynydd who founded the Tudor Dynasty, descendants of Tudur ap Goronwy of Pemynydd. (Read more)
