Ormesby St Michael is a small village in Norfolk, standing some 7½ miles northwest of the port town of Great Yarmouth and 15 miles east of the City of Norwich.
The village lies within the Norfolk Broads, and nearby are Ormesby Broad and Ormesby Little Broad, both part of the Trinity Broads.
The parish has had a recorded population in 2001 of 297 in 128 households.
The village of Ormesby St Margaret is a much larger village to be found a mile to the east.

Ormesby Manor is a Grade II listed 19th manor house with an Italianate tower.
