The Jubilee Bridge is a road bridge spanning the River Tees north to south between County Durham on the north bank and the North Riding of Yorkshire on the south, carrying a local road, the Queen Elizabeth Way. The bridge crosses the river by Ingleby Barwick, which sits on the Yorkshire bank. On the Durham bank is Preston-on-Tees
The bridge is to be found three miles upriver from Stockton-on-Tees town centre.
The Jubilee Bridge is a balanced cantilever design, 492 feet long with 3 spans and a main span of 348 feet. It is constructed from reinforced concrete and T-section steel plate girders.[1]
The bridge carries dual two lane carriageways and additionally on the western side, a pedestrian cycle track linking in to the local pedestrian cycle tracks on the southern bank of the Tees.[2]
