The White Lady Waterfall is a tall, elegant cascade where the River Lyd plunges a hundred feet within the spectacular Lydford Gorge on in the west of Devon.

The gorge is a popular visitor attraction, in the hands of the National Trust; a deep, long cleft in the granite of Dartmoor through which the Lyd makes it way, beneath the village of Lydford from which it takes its name, and the waterfall, dropping majestically into a pool beneath, is the highlight of the gorge walk.

A platform has been provided, up steps hammered into the rock, to observe the 'Devil's Cauldron' where the coursing waters thrash in a cleft within the fall.
