West Lavant is a tiny hamlet in the south-west of Sussex, immediately west of Mid Lavant. It is found to the north of Chichester.

There is a school here, Lavant House, and a few cottages. An ancient earthwork, the Devil's Ditch, runs westward for a mile from the hamlet.
