Trundy Island is a small island in the south-west of the Joubin Islands, off the south-west point of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago of the British Antarctic Territory.

Following the work of United States Antarctic Research Program personnel from "Palmer Station" from 1965, was named after George B. Trundy, able seaman in RV Hero on her first Antarctic voyage, visiting Palmer Station in 1968
