Treflys is a parish in Brecknockshire situated to the east of Llanwrtyd Wells. In 2011 the population of Treflys was 469.[1] It is bounded to the east by Llanafan-fawr and Cilmery, to the south by Llangammarch, to the west by Llanwrtyd Wells and to the north by Llanwrthwl.
The A483 Swansea-Manchester trunk road traverses the south of the parish, as does the Llanelli-Craven Arms railway line. The village of Beulah lies within the parish. Eglwys Oen Duw is a Grade II* Listed Building situated between Beulah and Abergwesyn, approximately a mile north-west of Beulah village.[2] Treflys, in the Middle Ages was a commote within the Cantref of Buellt.
