Thornbury is a village in Herefordshire four miles north of the town of Bromyard. It is in the northeast of the county, close to the bounds of Worcestershire.
The village has one church, with the interesting dedication to St Anna. The oldest parts of St Anna's are 12th century Norman though it is possible that there was an earlier church on the site as foundations of a Saxon building were discovered under the chancel when restorations were undertaken during the 19th century.
Thornbury is one of seven parishes in the Bredenbury benefice which extends from Ullingswick in the south to Collington in the north.
To the north of Thornbury is Thornbury Court. Two tributaries of the River Frome surround the village. Wall Hills, a hill fort, lies half a mile to the east.
