The Trident is a mountain of three peaks on South Georgia, the highest peak rising to 4,386 feet above sea level
The mountain is found to the south-east of the Murray Snowfield and Briggs Glacier. It proved an obstruction to Shackleton near the start of his crossing of South Georgia in May 1916.
Following the South Georgia Survey in 1958, the mountain was named descriptively.
