The Menhir

The Menhir is an isolated pinnacle rock 1,300 feet high, overlooking the west side of Gibbon Bay in the east of Coronation Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.
The rock was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy in 1956-58, and named descriptively.
