Torwoodlee BrochTorwoodlee Broch is the remains of an iron-age broch located near Galashiels in Selkirkshire, and is one of very few brochs to be found outside the northern Highlands. It bears comparison with another southern broch, Edin's Hall Broch in Berwickshire. An earlier hill fort a hundred and fifty yards in diameter lay on the shoulder of a ridge and the broch was built on the south-west side of the fort, partly on top of the defences.
