Slieve Croob

Slieve Croob is the tallest of the Dromara Hills, a group of peaks in the middle of County Down, lying north of the Mourne Mountains between Dromara in the north and Castlewellan in the south.

The River Lagan, which runs down eventually to Belfast, rises on the slopes of Slieve Croob. On its summit stand a number of communications relay stations. (Read more)
