Naas Naas is the county town of County Kildare. It is in the north of the county and a major commuter town for those working in Dublin. It is a well connected place; the N7 Naas Dual Carriageway leading to the M50 Motorway to Dublin, and the M7 Motorway connects to the south and southwest. The town's name is from the Irish language, in which tongue it is named Nás na Ríogh, which literally means 'Meeting Place of the Kings', as this place historically hosted meetings of pre-Norman Irish kings from the Kingdom of Leinster.
