KintailKintail is a mountainous area along the border of Ross-shire with Inverness-shire, towards the west coast. Much of the landscape is owned by the National Trust for Scotland. Kintail consists of the mountains to the north of Glen Shiel between the heads of Loch Duich and Loch Cluanie. The area is known chiefly for the Five Sisters Of Kintail – a line of mountains in a high ridge, three of them over 3,000 feet. (Read more) |
