Kilmacolm

Kilmacolm is a village in Renfrewshire, standing on the northern slope of the Gryffe Valley south-east of Greenock. The village had a monastic foundation in the Dark Ages and is known from mediæval records. It remained a small place though until the Victorian era, with the arrival of the railway in Kilmacolm in 1869. (Read more)
