Hillsborough CastleHillsborough Castle is a grand, Georgian country mansion in the village of Hillsborough County Down. It was built in the eighteenth century as a palatial residence for the Marquesses of Downshire, but it is today in the ownership of the Crown with the status of a royal palace.
