Edin's Hall Broch

Edin's Hall Broch (also 'Odin's Hall Broch') is a 2nd-century broch near Duns in Berwickshire: one of very few brochs found south of the Highlands It is roughly 92 feet in diameter.

In the late 18th century this site was called "Wooden's Hall", from Woden of Anglo-Saxon mythology, and its name of today recalls the legend of the three-headed giant The Red Ettin known in tales and ballads. (Read more)
