Cape Pembroke LighthouseThe Cape Pembroke Lighthouse stands on Cape Pembroke, the easternmost point of East Falkland and of the whole of the Falkland Islands. It is an automated light, standing 59 feet high. The lighthouse was built in 1855, and rebuilt in 1906, to warn ships of the nearby Billy Rock, which used to take a grim toll on shipping.
