Sunshine Glacier crawls south into Iceberg Bay in the south of Coronation Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.
The glacier was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy in 1948-49, and so named because, on cloudy days, there is usually a gap of blue sky above the glacier and a patch of sunshine at its surface. It was further surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1956-58.
