Strule Arts Centre is a multi-purpose counci-owned arts venue in Omagh, Tyrone, overlooking the River Strule which flows through the town centre. The Omagh tourist information office is on the ground floor.
The centre was built to replace the old Omagh Town Hall on the site, demolished in 2003. The new Strule Arts Centre Arts cost £10.5 million and opened on 8 June 2007, as part of a wider regeneration project for the High Street, George Street and Riverside area of Omagh. It was designed by architects Kennedy Fitzgerald and Associates.[1] The centre was officially opened in January 2008.
