Southoe is a small village in Huntingdonshire, standing on the west side of the busy A1 on the stretch between St Neots and Buckden. It is found a little to the north of Little Paxton, and on the opposite side of the road are the gravel workings of the Paxton Pits.

The village is clustered around its church. The church is partly Norman, and in particular its the south doorway is one of the most highly ornamented Norman doorways in the county.

Further west amid the fields is Midloe, which is barely more than a group of cottages beside the 16th century Grange and which falls within the same parish. Southoe is no further south than Midloe. To the north of Southoe are fields and woods, and the small village of Diddington. The similarly named Stirtloe, a tiny faming village, lies beyond.
