South Pool is a village in the south of Devon (in the county's Coleridge Hundred).
The village stands at the head of South Pool creek, one of the many deeply cut tidal creeks which feed their brooks into Salcombe Harbour at the southernmost part of Devon; the South Pool Creek enters the main waterway opposite Salcombe, with East Portlemouth on its bank. The waters driven up the creek during high spring tides with strong southwesterly winds frequently flood the village square.
There is one pub in South Pool; The Millbrook Inn.
The parish church is The Church of St Nicholas and St Cyriac, standing just up the hill.
