The Sillard Islands lie off Cape Mascart, the northern point of Adelaide Island in the British Antarctic Territory.
The islands were roughly charted by the French Antarctic Expedition of 1908-1910 and named IÎles Sillard after M. Sillard, Director, l'Enterprise Française du Port de Montevideo, which refitted the expedition ship Pourquoi Pas? in 1910. The name also appears as IÎle Sillard and 'Sillard Island' for the largest island of the group.
The islands were photographed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition of 1947-1948. They were further photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition of 1956-1957.
