Salisbury Bluff

Salisbury Bluff is the headland forming the south side of the entrance to Las Palmas Cove indenting the Hurd Peninsula of Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, in the British Antarctic Territory. The bluff forms sea cliffs 394 feet high.

The area was visited by early 19th century sealers operating from nearby Johnsons Dock, two and a half miles north-east of the Bluff.

This point is named after the sealing ship Salisbury (under Captain Thomas Hodges), from Liverpool, which visited the South Shetland Islands in 1820-21.
