St George's
Montserrat

St George's is one of the three parishes of Montserrat, comprising the eastern part of the island.

The parish was once a thriving place but the repeated eruptions of the Soufrière Hills since 1995 have rendered the southern half of Montserrat severely dangerous and the greater part of the parish, including all its villages and Blackburne Airport, now falls within the Exclusion Zone established by the Governor in the south.

The villages of St George's are:

• Bethel
• Harris
• Long Ground
• Trant's
• Tuitt's

The Paradise River and the Farm River join and enter the sea on this coast.
