Rothwell Hundred is one of the hundreds of Northamptonshire, located in the north of the county, adjacent to the border with Leicestershire. It is bounded to the east by Corby Hundred; to the south-east by Huxloe; to the south by Orlingbury Hundred; to the south by Huxloe; to the south-west by Guilsborough Hundred; and to the north by Leicestershire. It had a population of 34,487 in 2011.
