Roald Glacier flows east into Gibbon Bay in the east of Coronation Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.
The glacier was roughly charted by Sørlle in 1912-15 and named Roald Breen, possibly after the whale factory ship Roald Amundsen. It was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy in 1948-49. The glacier was resurveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey, 1956-58.
