Preston is a hundred in southern Sussex, within the Rape of Lewes. It is bounded by Fishergate to the west; by Dean to the north; by Youngsmere to the north-east; and by Whalesbone to the south-east and north-west. It is named after the village of Preston, which now forms a suburb of Brighton. It had a population of 76,461 in 2011.
