The Pirie Peninsula is on the north coast of Laurie Island, one of the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.
It extends north-north-west from the island's north coast, between Jessie Bay and Browns Bay, and it terminates in Cape Mabel.
The peninsula was roughly charted by Powell and Palmer in 1821. It was mapped by the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition in 1903 and named Perie [sic] Peninsula after Dr John Hunter Harvey Pirie (1877-1965), the medical officer and geologist on the expedition. The peninsula was further charted by Discovery Investigations in 1933.
