Pilton is a hamlet with scattered farmsteads in the north of Northamptonshire, just to the north of the village of Wadenhoe (to whose civil parish it is allocated).
Notwithstanding the tininess of the place, it has a fine village church; the Church of St Mary and All Saints, a Grade II* listed building.[1] It was built in the late 12th century and added to in the late 13th century. It underwent two restorations funded by Lord Lilford in the Vicotrian Age; a new chancel was built in 1864, and a thorough restoration was carried out in 1875.
By the church stands Pilton Manor House.
