The Peterson Hills rise to 3,600 feet between Hauberg Mountains and Wilkins Mountains along the Orville Coast of southern Palmer Land in the British Antarctic Territory.
, were photographed from the air by the United States Navy, 1965-67, and mapped from air photographs by the United States Geological Survey; named after D.G. Peterson, the United States Antarctic Research Program electronics technician, 'South Pole Station', winter 1963.
