Pacific Point (56°19’0"S, 27°36’0"W) is a small, rounded point on the northwest side of Zavodovski Island, the northernmost of the South Sandwich Islands.
The point was named 'Low Point' by Discovery Investigations personnel following their survey in 1930, but that name has been changed because it has also been used for several other features in the vicinity. 'Pacific Point' was recommended as a name in 1953 by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee and is named for the American schooner Pacific which, under Captain James Brown, visited Zavodovski Island in 1830, making a landing there.
