Normanna Strait runs east-west between Coronation Island and Signy Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.
This strait was roughly charted by Brisbane (from whom the Brisbane Heights are named) under the direction of Weddell in 1823. It was further charted by Sørlle in 1912-13, and named after the whaling factory ship Normanna (under Kapitein K. O. Stene, whose name is found in Stene Point), of A/S Haugesund, Sandefjord, Norway, which operated from Borge Bay, Signy Island, during the three seasons 1912-15. The strait was recharted by Discovery Investigations in 1933.
