Nineteen-sixteen Snowfield

The Nineteen-sixteen Snowfield is a snowfield in the north of South Georgia between Filchner Ridge and Fortuna Glacier. It was named in commemoration of the year that Shackleton accomplished the crossing of South Georgia.
