Newington is a suburb on the Isle of Thanet on the eastern tip of Kent, in the west of the town of Ramsgate.
History
The local council developed the Newington Estate in the late 1940s to replace housing lost in Second World War. Residents of the estate funded St Christopher's Church which was dedicated in 1955.[1]
