Newcestown is a small village located 22 miles from the city of Cork in the western part of County Cork. It is a village with a church, a school, a pub and GAA club.
About the village
The local Roman Catholic church is the Church of St. John the Baptist. It was built in 1872 in a Gothic revival style.[1]
The nearby Church of Ireland church is dedicated to St Patrick and was built around 1810.[2]

Just outside the main village is an 18 hole pitch and putt course.
