Moutonnée Valley runs eastward to Moutonnée Lake in the east of Alexander Island in the British Antarctic Territory.
Glacial geomorphological studies were conducted by the Department of Geography of the University of Aberdeen, in co-operation with the British Antarctic Survey from "Fossil Bluff" in 1978-1979. Following this study, the valley was named in association with the lake (albeit initially listed in error as 'Mountonnée Valley').
