Mount Weininger stands at the north-west end of the Mackin Table, part of the Patuxent Range of the Pensacola Mountains in Queen Elizabeth Land, in the British Antarctic Territory. Its summit is at 6,460 feet, at the north extremity of the Mackin Table, to which it is joined by a short ridge.
This mountain was named after Richard B. Weininger, the United States Antarctic Research Program Scientific Leader and ionosphericist, 'South Pole Station', winter 1967.
