Mount Ethelwulf is a mountain of 8,500 feet in the Douglas Range in the north-east of Alexander Island in the British Antarctic Territory. It rises to 8,500 feet.
The mountain was probably seen from the air by the British Graham Land Expedition on 13 March 1936 and it was roughly surveyed from the ground by that expedition in October-November 1936
The mountain is named after King Etherwulf (King Alfred's father), who reigned as King of the West Saxons and Kentishmen, 839-58; it is one of a series of mountains in the range named after kings of the House of Wessex.
