Mount Bruns rises to a summit of 2,986 feet, four miles north of Mount Lowry, in the Anderson Hills, part of the Patuxent Range of the Pensacola Mountains in Queen Elizabeth Land in the British Antarctic Territory.

The mountain was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and the United States Navy air photos, 1956-66. It is named after John E. Bruns, glaciologist at A Palmer Station, winter 1967.
