McPherson Crags rise to 1,509 feet north-west of Lawther Knoll in the centre of Annenkov Island. The crags were named following geological work by the British Antarctic Survey in 1972-73 after Miss Ray McPherson (1916-75), clerical officer with the British Antarctic Survey 1967-75.
