Marshall Bay lies between Cape Vik and Cape Hansen on the south coast of Coronation Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.
The bay was roughly charted by Sørlle, 1912-13. It was recharted by Discovery Investigations in 1933 and named after Dr Edward Hillis Marshall (1885-1975), surgeon and member of Discovery Investigations marine executive staff in 1924-31; Discovery 1925-27; whaling factory ship C.A. Larsen on a Norwegian whaling expedition to Ross Sea in 1928-29; Discovery II in 1929-31. The bay was resurveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy in 1956-58.
