Mai Point is the headland at the tip of the Thatcher Peninsula in the midst of Cumberland Bay on the north coast of South Georgia. It is the eastern entrance point of Maiviken, from which it is named.
The headland was charted by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition in 1902; re-charted by Discovery Investigations in 1929 and named in association with Maiviken.
